WELCOME TO YEARS 1-2!

The children have settled in well to their new classrooms and daily routines.  We are very proud of them!

► If you have any questions or comments for staff, please note it in the daily diary.  We check these each morning.

► Homework will be handed out each Friday, to be returned by the following Thursday.  Please ensure your child has a PE kit and water bottle in school.

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN YEAR 1-2:

PE

As part of our 'Real PE' scheme, Year 1 and 2 took part in a 'Real Gym' session.  The children enjoyed moving at different speeds and in all directions as part of a 'washing machine' warm up!  Next, they learned new balancing skills, which became more challenging as the session progressed.  To apply their skills, the children then played 'Mirror Mirror' with a partner, copying one another's shapes.
