Redby Rap Round is the name we have given to our NEW Wraparound provision, offering families childcare within the familiar surroundings of the school environment.
In order to support working parents, our provision will be offered either side of the school day - term time only
SESSION TIMES AND COSTS
BREAKFAST CLUB:
07:30am - 08:45am / £4.50 (1 child) £4 (Sibling x1) £3.50 (Sibling x2)
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB:
SESSION 1 → 03:15pm - 06:00pm / £9 (1 child) £8 (Sibling x1) £7 (Sibling x2)
SESSION 2 → 03:15pm - 05:00pm / £7 (1 child) £6 (Sibling x1) £5 (Sibling x2)
SESSION 3 → 04:15pm - 06:00pm / £7 (1 child) £6 (Sibling x1) £5 (Sibling x2) Part session for pupils participating in Extra Curricular activities
* Late collection charges will apply: £1 per every 10 minutes over time.
** Please note: Costs above are for one child or the first child in the family. Sibling reductions are applied for second and third children in the family.
BOOKING SESSIONS
All sessions should be booked in advance; allowing for registers to be compiled and appropriate staffing levels assigned. In the event of last-minute emergencies, parents should phone the school office to request a session.
Parents will need to book sessions through the school Arbor Parent Portal App.
We are currently in the process of registering Redby Academy; allowing us to accept Childcare Vouchers and the Tax-Free Childcare Scheme. Once this is complete, we will issue parents with our registration number.
BREAKFAST CLUB
Children should enter school for Breakfast Club via the Art Room door on KS1 yard. Once the children are registered, they will remain in the club until the onset of the school day. All children will be delivered to their classrooms by staff on duty.
Breakfast will be served, offering a wide range of healthy foods eg: cereal, toast, waffles, fruit, yogurt, water, juice, milk (and on some days sausage/bacon/egg).
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Children attending all sessions will be collected, by a member of staff on duty, and taken to After School Club.
Children should be collected from the main school office at the end of After School Club sessions. After school snacks will be offered to all children eg: sandwiches, beans on toast, pizza, soup/roll, fruit, yogurt, biscuit etc.
* Please note: Parents can collect children from Afterschool Club at any point, but will be charged for the session that has been pre booked.
